Michael Carlyle Hall (born February 1, 1971)[1] is an American actor.
He is known for playing the titular character in the Showtime series Dexter (2006–2013) and David Fisher in the HBO drama series Six Feet Under (2001–2005). He won a Golden Globe Award for the former, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and received
